Check out the photos, we have taken care to try to clearly photograph the finish checking, hardware corrosion and dings\/marks\/scratches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ES 335 is a landmark guitar for Gibson Brands, Inc., (formerly Gibson Guitar Corporation) introduced in 1958 as the Gibson ES 335T. ES stands for “Electric Spanish” the “T” after 335 designates a thinline body (1.5\/8”), as opposed to previous ES models like the ES 175, ES 295 and other archtops like the Byrdland, L5, Super 400, Switchmaster that featured the deeper body depth (1.7\/8”).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere has been an exceptionally neat conversion from the standard trapeze to a stop tailpiece. Also, the original knobs have been changed to the Gibson black ”Silver Top” style. It has been re-fretted with wider frets along its journey, which may warrant a fret dress depending on the new owner’s taste and\/or preferences.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis guitar has a volute, a \"Made In USA\" impression on the back of the headstock and a serial number in the 900,000s, so safe to say it is an early 1970s - 1973 at the very latest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSet up by our The guitar is in great condition when you consider it is in its late '40s. ES stands for “Electric Spanish” the “T” after 335 designates a thinline body (1.5\/8”), as opposed to previous ES models like the ES 175, ES 295 and other archtops like the Byrdland, L5, Super 400, Switchmaster that featured the deeper body depth (1.7\/8”).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere has been an exceptionally neat conversion from the standard trapeze to a stop tailpiece. Also, the original knobs have been changed to the Gibson black ”Silver Top” style.
